Buyer's question

How long do you expect these devices to last? Keep in mind that in Australian mining areas, there’s a lot of red dust that gets into everything and can easily mess up equipment like gas detectors. Do the wristbands have seals to protect the inside parts?

US will allocate funds to EV industry

Answer

Service life

At present, the battery of this wristband has a rechargeable service life of 300 to 500 cycles. The outer shell is made of ABS and typically has a service life of 5 to 10 years.

Protection capability

This product’s dustproof rating is IP67, which is the highest level, so you don’t need to worry. Allow me to explain:

  • In the IP protection rating, the first digit (6) represents the dustproof level, ranging from 0 to 6. Specifically, level 6 (the highest level) means completely dust-tight; no dust can enter the interior of the equipment at all, providing complete contact protection. During the 8-hour test cycle, no dust seeps in.
  • IP6X test standard:
    • Test conditions: Use talcum powder as the test dust with particle sizes less than 75 microns in a vacuum environment for 8 hours.
    • Qualification standard: There should be no visible dust deposition inside the equipment, and the equipment must remain fully functional.
